Contact

Reach OHV Trail Finder by email at [email protected] for data corrections, source questions, or reuse questions. Corrections to any published mileage, vehicle designation, season, or district assignment are the priority and are checked against the primary Forest Service MVUM source before the site is updated.

Data corrections

If a mileage, vehicle designation, season, or district-to-state assignment looks wrong, please say which district and what you expected. Corrections are checked against the primary U.S. Forest Service MVUM source before the site is updated, and a re-pull of the source moves the vintage stamp on every page.

Reuse and sources

The underlying route data is public domain (a work of the U.S. Government). For questions about how a figure is derived, the methodology page documents the source layers and method. For reuse questions, email is the best route.

What this site can't do

This is an informational project, not the Forest Service. It cannot open or close routes, issue permits, or tell you real-time trail conditions — for those, contact the ranger district directly and carry the official Motor Vehicle Use Map.
